Communidée membership info

Membership:

Members can buy either Tuesdays or Fridays from September to December for $125, or both Tuesdays and Fridays for $200. The same prices apply for January to April. For May and June, members can buy Tuesdays only for $65, and Fridays turn into park days. Membership fees can be paid in installments. Make your cheque payable to Centre Communidée and give it to Sonya.

There is a maximum of 12 member-families per day. Non-members can participate for $10 per family per day when space allows.

Members get to vote on what we do with our time at the centre, they get to vote for the Board of Directors in April, they get advanced opportunity to sign up for all activities at Communidée, and they are expected to contribute to the centre by offering an activity, organizing a field trip, participating on a committee, planning a party... There is a jobs list - ask Sonya.

Communidée Rules:

- Speak and act with respect for one another. We all have the right to be here in peace and free from harassment. No yelling or hurting in anger. No excluding or bullying. If there is a problem the children cannot work out, get the parents. Any problems with parents can be taken to the Board of Directors.
- Do not disrupt the other people and organizations in the building.
- Show respect for the centre's stuff. If you take out a toy, put it away. If you use a dish, wash it.
- At the end of the day, everyone present helps out with picking up. If you leave early, make sure that the toys you took out are put away if not in use.
- For sign up activities: Sign up. Arrive on time. Call Sonya or the organizer if you will be late or absent. If you cancel and a replacement cannot be found, you are responsible for any fees lost.
- If you do not want to participate in the planned activity, do not disrupt it.
- No video games, unless explicitly allowed during an activity.

CRCS St-Zotique Rules:

- Avoid loud noise in room 129
- No sitting or standing on the tables or window ledges in room 129
- Avoid loud noise, running or playing in the halls and bathrooms
- Use the upstairs corridor between room 129 and the mini gym, use the stairs by the big gym
- Little kids need to travel from place to place with a grown up
- Kids may not leave the building without a grown up
- You can eat in the mini gym, but you must clean up after yourself and your kids.
