Welcome! This site is an online resource and meeting place for homelearners in the Montreal area. There's lots to do here... Resource pages with loads of useful information specific to Montreal (courses, groups, curricula, field trips, etc.), a forum for discussions, a calendar of activities (with the ability to sign-up for events and see who else has signed up), member profiles that you can browse to connect with other homelearners, a members-only photo gallery, and a blog.

Anyone can visit this site and view the resources, blogs and forums.

Each member is encouraged to complete their profile ("My account"-->"Edit" -->"Profile"). The information you provide is not available to the general public - only other members can view your profile.

To contact other members individually, go to the Members page, click on their picture, and then on "Contact".

Only administrators can send Mass Contact Messages (email to all members). These will be used sparingly to inform users about site changes and important group-related news. Members can opt out of receiving such messages, if they wish.

For now, only administrators can create events on the Events Calendar. If you want something posted there, contact me. When a new event gets posted and the <sign up> module is enabled, everyone can RSVP with the click of a button, automatically generating an email to the organizer and allowing other members to see who plans to attend.

Only registered members can create forum topics ("Create content"-->"Forum topic") and post to the forums.

Only administrators can create static pages. If you have suggestions for the resource pages (or any other page), feel free to contact me.

All members can participate in polls.
